We try to go to each of the Scarf seasonal dinners. It's nice to see the trainees gaining confidence throughout the night and the guiding trainers helping out. Dinner was delicious and the only suggestion we had would be to serve some gravy with the bangers and mash 👍🏼

Great staff and excellent food, although the shared main fish dish was on the small side. It was meant to be for two people, but the small sized snapper made it suitable only for one. My partner had to stop and grab a take-away burger on the way home.

We are regulars at the Lincoln and the food is always good. Tonight was no exception, however this was a different night as the Lincoln was hosting the Scarf dinner - where refugees are provided the opportunity to develop and practice their hospitality skills. The students were delightful and it was a joy seeing them learn at the right hand of their professional buddies. A great night out!

We had a lovely night - great food and friendly staff. The ambience could be improved - just a little busy / chaotic - we were sitting near the bar.

About Winter Scarf Dinner

Do More Than Dine Scarf is a social enterprise which partners with Melbourne's best restaurants to provide hospitality training, mentoring and employment to young refugees, asylum seekers and new migrants. Scarf Dinners offer a two course set menu (entree & main) for $45 per person, as well as a fantastic wine list. The cooking is taken care of by the partner restaurant chefs, and the front-of-house service by Scarf's trainee waiters and their mentors. Please note that bookings work on a ticketed system and pre-payment is taken upon booking. Scarf Dinners happen in different partner restaurants each season. Please refer to www.scarfcommunity.org to find out the current Scarf Dinners location.
