The staff are all so friendly and the food is amazing! All of the sashimi is super fresh and smooth. Everything is cooked perfectly, especially the scallops. My favourite was the king size prawn tempura. Great variety of beverages too! Love the atmosphere inside and out in the garden. Definitely coming back again!

This is really a hidden gem. The food is fresh and there are range of options to choose from which sets Wabi Sabi Garden apart from your other local Japanese options. The service was a little slow at times however we were dining on a very hot night. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Quality Quality Quality in everything: Food, Service, Atmosphere. Not only once, but consistently so each and every time we have been here. Highly recommended to even the most discerning of diners.

Wabi Sabi has a great vibe to it and great food to match. We wanted to try everything on the menu. Service was fast and friendly and the "lantern" tree and zen courtyard were a highlight.

About Wabi Sabi Garden

Tokyo is just around the corner If you can’t make it to Tokyo, bring Tokyo to you. Wabi Sabi Garden in St Kilda offers authentic and fusion Japanese fare that will have your mouth watering the moment you walk into the beautiful, light-filled restaurant. Similar to its sister restaurant, the popular Wabi Sabi Salon in Collingwood, Wabi Sabi Garden is a modern Japanese eatery that you’ll want to add into your regular sushi rotation. There’s ample room for big parties at the large communal tables, or you can find a more intimate spot in the warm, inviting dining room. There’s space outside in the traditional bamboo and pebble garden courtyard too. Bring your appetite and plan to share—it’s the best way to sample a variety of the market-fresh dishes. The tempura is always a hit to start, as is the gyoza. There are great flavoursome options for vegans and vegetarians alike. For lunch, try one of the delicious bento boxes, which feature a constantly rotating main dish depending on what’s in season. Wabi Sabi Garden is fresh, fun Japanese food that’s meant to be shared with friends. Best Dish: tuna sashimi salad
