The cafe was nice, clean and cosy, we had lunch here food was well presented but tasted ok, price was around the same you'd pay at any other restaurants in the Hunter. Service staff were polite and nice. If you have an infant/child there's no change table at the restaurant, but they have high chairs.

We went on a Saturday and made a last minute booking which was great. The service was great. There is a new chef and we found some of the dishes underdeveloped. Lovely souffle and Pate, corn bread was burnt and mains presentation was a bit sloppy. Risotto tasted re-heated. More care needed across the menu. great atmosphere and could be 5 star but we gave it 5/5

Disappointed the sem sauv Blanc wasn't available. However, food was amazing and great value for money. Will definitely be back!

Tower for Two; mostly excellent! Same as happened to a friend previously, the pancakes were hard and leathery. Must have been made a week before! Once the waitress arrives with your meal, you don't see her again. So it's up to the customer to get up and ask for salt and pepper, a serviette and an extra plate (hard to eat Danish pastries on the same plate you've just had the bacon and eggs)

Oh so phat! Run by a couple of rather rotund fellas, Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Kitchen is all about good food, great wine and sharing it with others. Set in the Hunter Valley this historic winery/restaurant was originally established in 1853 and it continues to deliver the very essence of the ‘Hunter Lifestyle’: lazy long lunches followed a crisp glass of vino on the verandah. The restaurant delivers all kinds of dining experiences, you can enjoy a delicious morning coffee and some breaky, a casual lunch based around sharing plates or a more formal dining experience. There is also an extensive range of authentic small goods sourced from artisan producers, plus they also have live music every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).
