Spicers Tamarind never fails to disappoint with wonder atmosphere and interesting flavorful menu. Live Jazz on Sundays is nice addition to create relaxed dining experience. Only disappointment was the pork belly main dish which was lacking actual crackling and the sauce would have benefited from having a more caramelised flavour to accompany the pepper tones.

Limited menu especially as two of meals on degustation menu very hot. Left with drunken chicken that elevated bland to new lows. Served with inedible whole charred shallot and baby corn. One of worst mains I have ever had . Dessert read well but chef invested in fancy technique frozen yoghurt crisps on a lemon poppyseed cake dumped on sour creme fraiche. Someone should start tasting. Beautiful setting. Sack the chef.

The service was good. The food......absolutely first class - an incredible Thai - Australian fusion of brilliance - you cannot go in with any per-conceived concept, as the creativity of the kitchen is second to none.

Lovers of Thai food would be well advised to head up the Blackall Ranges - the rewards we promise, will be rich (and fragrant). Tamarind elevates Thai dining and frees it from the usual cliches, both
