I Love going to the Salopian Inn. The staff are so welcoming and the food is amazing. The Salopian Inn is an old stone restaurant set on the main road on the outskirts of Mclaren Vale township And the best part....... It has an amazing gin bar!

Food were really delicious and the service was good. The restaurant was full at the lunch time we were there which made the atmosphere great, but the bill took a bit longer to arrive. All in all, the experience was always good - since we been back the previous three times!

Headed down to the cellar to pick a bottle of red to enjoy with our meal, nice touch! Duck Dumplings are a must!! Enjoyed the Duck to share and Pie! Perfect view of the vineyards and property by the window just topped it off. Lovely meal.

About The Salopian Inn

Salopian Inn is a regional restaurant serving eclectic modern Australian food in a stylish and relaxed setting. The kitchen garden grows most of the restaurants vegetables and the menu is designed around the constantly changing seasons of the garden and sourcing local produce. Salopian Inn is all about discovery from the food to the wine, so if your thirsty the bar offers over 200 gins and a cocktail list that you would expect to find in a city bar. The wine list is all encompassing with a large local showing alongside many imported wines. Chef Karena Armstrong and Inn Keeper Alex Marchetti offer old school hospitality where you can sit at the bar and have a gin and a pork bun or indulge in a long lunch and let the Champagne flow.
