It was my birthday and it was lovely to have such a fuss made. I even had "Happy Birthday" sung to me in Portuguese (I think!) Lovely food - we had scallops (perfect), brussel sprouts, mushrooms and the charcuterie board. And of course dessert. All delicious. My husband left his jacket behind at the end of the evening, and remembering we had mentioned catching a bus, one of the waiters ran all the way to the bus stop to give it back. Now that's service!

Lovely brunch!

The food was disappointing and the wine list expensive. The service was excellent. Don't live in Darwin but wouldn't go back anyway.

I love the Pearl and try to go every time I visit Darwin. The menu has changed somewhat to a slightly more Tappas share plate selection. I was a little surprised but the food was still the best. I had the special morton bay bugs after my entree of oysters with gin and tonic sorbet. The desserts are always the best.

Exceptional staff helped make our night a very memorable occasion. Great food and amazing cocktails. The only think letting it down is the location.

Nice range of share plates, good cocktail list. Nice spot to hang out with friends with good food.

About The Pearl Darwin

Some pearls of wisdom. Nestled in the revamped sandstone building of Victoria Arcade is The Pearl, a Darwinian gem. After spending the morning at the nearby Smith Street Mall, unwind in The Pearl’s ultra cool surroundings - complete with dramatic feature walls dotted with vintage mirrors, a tiled bar and decadent pendant lamps. Locals regularly return for The Pearl’s silky smooth lattes and cold drip filter coffees as well as their delicious all day dining menu. You'll find everything form brekkie bubble and squeak to dinner time panfried garfish with ruby grapefruit, orange and mint. What more can we say, it's a pearler. Best Dish: house cured ocean trout salad with beetroot, dill, salad, leaves, cucumber, red onion, fennel, radish & preserved lemon goats cheese.
