I am coeliac & when I went to discuss this with the person preparing the meal I was delighted to learn that she was coeliac also. Eating out can be very difficult but I was able to sit back & relax. My BLT was delicious! This cafe is a hidden gem.

The Olive Branch is quite a cute place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee. It is well set up for people with young children with a play area. Plenty of parking. The atmosphere for dinner is poor. I assume the service staff were the chef's children; they were pleasant but presenting and clearing food was done across the table rather than from the right of the diner. The salmon and prawns were good (fresh, not frozen we believe) with yummy roasted vegetables. I would go back for a casual catch up coffee or light meal but not for dinner. While we were dining, there was an entertainer. The kids had fun and it was good hearing their giggles but the balloons popping was quite irritating. Again, this lends itself more to a daytime experience than a night out as a couple but well suited to families with kids.
