the service was a bit chaotic to start with - people without reservations got seated at a window table & we were put on a table as far from the views as possible, with big tables of noisy families. But the food was great, as usual - steaks cooked to absolute perfection - and although our first choice wine wasn't available the second choice was amazing. We'll definitely be going again

It would have added a real touch (and resulted in a 10 for service) if 1. When we arrived someone had opened the door rather than 6 people standing at the desk looking at us 2. I put a note on the booking it was my husbands birthday but our waitress had not had this information passed on. Overall we had a fantastic night but at the begining i was a little disappointed with initial service.

About The Meat & Wine Co Barangaroo

Would it be fair to say you’d be missing the point if you came to the Meat & Wine Company to try the salads? Australian Angus beef cuts are the house specialty, with super-aged meat the order of the day. Start off with the beef carpaccio or boerewors (South African sausage) and carry on with a T-bone or petite fillet. If you must know, they do also serve a few vegetarian dishes.
