A lovely warm and cosy setting on a wet and chilly day. The fire was lovely and warm and added to the cosy atmosphere. The food was amazing and the kids were happy with their kids meal. All in all a lovely lunch in the Swan Valley!

Chicken Bao buns were amazing, very delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful and attentive. Great customer service on drinks especially letting us have a taste of beer on tap so we can decide! I had the tea smoked duck special & HAD to get more port jus, just delicious. Hubby had the burger, joking that the bun was burnt (it was a charcoal bun) haha, but says it was yum too. Great selection of beer and wine.

The dishes came out pretty quickly, which was great! The pizzas were yummy - loved the mushroom one with truffle oil! Enjoyed the pecking platter to share, fish and chips was yummy, and sweet potato chips were plentiful. Overall good wholesome food with big portions.

About The Henley Brook

The Hen House! The Henley Brook - affectionately known as The Hen - is a glorious local bistro that can cater to all. Situated in the heart of the Swan Valley this venue has access to some really fine local produce and the restaurant makes effort to showcase the very best of the Valley. The menu is stuffed full of delicious gems with small plates to peck at, big plate to gorge on, plush leafy salads and rich decadent desserts - the warm peanut butter brownie with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream is our favourite. Bring your friends for a cheeky drink, bring your family for a good old feast or bring your partner for a casual date night - anything goes at The Hen! Best dish: Australian barramundi on salad of rockette, cherry tomato, Spanish onion, crunchy pear and Persian fetta.
