Food was amazing, was seated in a room by ourselves which was a little strange.

Food was great, service was very good and from friendly staff (A staff member was very attentive to my crustacean allergy - well done!) and this was our second visit and we will definitely come back again.

Was excellent, especially the service from our waitperson.

Food was good, but not good enough to warrant paying $50+ for a piece of steak with a potato

Rather disappointed with the food. My friend did enjoy her scotch fillet but my lamb was extremely fatty and very average. There are a lot nicer restaurants in Fremantle and not as expensive. It was my friend's better and I thought it would be nice to go there. We didn't stay for desert!

Had a great night

Food was fantastic. Ceviche entree is a must! A shame it took ages for me to get my first drink. Hubby's beer and our entree came out and I'm still waiting... went it did come it was worth waiting for. So good! The picture of the man on the wall is a bit freaky but otherwise it's a nice romantic place for dinner. Agree with other reviews saying this place is overpriced but only slightly.

About The Harbour Master

The Master of the Harbour Housed within The Esplanade Hotel is The Harbour Master restaurant. This contemporary Fremantle diner celebrates the history of the region and takes full advantage of its seaside setting. On a warm day head outside and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful park views on the Marine Terrace. Order a few drinks and get around the ‘snack skewers’ (we love the flame grilled prawns with chilli and lime). Alternatively, head inside and enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the stylish cocktail bar before going to dinner. The dining room features old photographs of Fremantle Harbour, highlighting the history of the venue and the Fremantle region. On the menu you’ll find a mix of Modern Australian dishes including perfectly grilled steaks, fresh seafood, hearty pastas, pizzas, wholesome sides and traditional desserts. Accompany your meal with a variety of local and international wines from the walk-in wine room. Best Dish: ‘From the sea’: grilled line caught WA Goldband snapper with herb butter, royal blue mash and asparagus.
