Beautiful space on two levels with indoor/terrace dining downstairs, opening up to beautiful sunset views over the CBD. Cool tropical-style interior and a good vibe. Food was good but not extraordinary. We shared a few delicious starters (cevice, tuna and oysters) and a lamb that was cooked very well (according to my friends, I'm not a lamb fan). The sides (quinoa salad, corn cobs etc) were quite bland. I'd come again for the vibe, service and views.

About The Butler Potts Point

Butler. You absolute Beauty. With their fourth venue, The Butler in Potts Point, Hamish Watts and Ben Carroll have created a space worth sharing. The contemporary menu is divided up by small and large share plates with a selection of sides. Start with the fried chicken slider, kimchi and mayo and move onto roast chicken, confit garlic, broad beans and jus gras. Chef, Brandon Hill does an exceptional job with each of his culinary creations, each one as mouth watering as the next. The Butler’s main space is sure to impress with its high ceilings, botanical wall covering, richly luxe green space out on the balcony and killer views of the Sydney skyline. It’s abundantly light and airy, almost hampton-esque, and the service is sharp. This is one of Sydney’s hottest restos meets bar. Hit it up! Best dish: Pork shoulder, chestnut, prunes, black garlic
