the entrees and desserts were really nice but the mains seemed a bit average - the pork scotch was a bit dry and the quinoa salad wasnt anything amazing... ive been twice before and was slightly disappointed this time - just lacked any kind of wow factor

Service wasn't the best. One dish came 15 min after everything else. When mentioned to staff they got defensive and responded with a lot of attitude. What a shame.

Our server was Friendly and very knowledgeable. Can't recall his name but was tall and was very funny as well. I will definitely be back to The Butler soon. Cheers for a great night

Fresh fun decor. Relaxed friendly vibe. Good selection of sharing plates and delicious cocktails. Service casual but attentive. Nice city views from the courtyard

The setting is great - has a kind of tropical colonial feel to it. I wasn't a fan of the food - found the large plates too salty. But that might just be me.

About The Butler Potts Point

Butler. You absolute Beauty. With their fourth venue, The Butler in Potts Point, Hamish Watts and Ben Carroll have created a space worth sharing. The contemporary menu is divided up by small and large share plates with a selection of sides. Start with the fried chicken slider, kimchi and mayo and move onto roast chicken, confit garlic, broad beans and jus gras. Chef, Brandon Hill does an exceptional job with each of his culinary creations, each one as mouth watering as the next. The Butler’s main space is sure to impress with its high ceilings, botanical wall covering, richly luxe green space out on the balcony and killer views of the Sydney skyline. It’s abundantly light and airy, almost hampton-esque, and the service is sharp. This is one of Sydney’s hottest restos meets bar. Hit it up! Best dish: Pork shoulder, chestnut, prunes, black garlic
