Lovely food. Service was a little bit hit and miss but to be fair they had a couple of large groups in.

It is not somewhere I would go in winter again as it felt really cold in there, but would be beautiful in warmer weather. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were good too.

The venue, atmosphere and food were really good, however let down by very relaxed service, after 30 minutes I had to go looking for staff to order our first drinks. Earlier in the day there was no response to a request to increase the number in our group, considering that I sent an email and left a phone message, that was also poor. The quality of the location deserves better.

10C outside. The heating wasn't very effective., ( and we were seated by the open fire!) The waitress did apologise for it ( an unsolicited apology) towards the end of the meal. Apart from that we were very happy with the Bridgewater Mill.

Staff and ambience was nice for a long girls lunch. Food was good and service was friendly, respectful and queries were followed up quickly. Would highly recommend. Suggestion: an open fire or the like, would certainly be something to consider.

Food was superb - scallop soup then pork belly with prawns. However, waiting staff were generally too young for their roles - gave impression that they were not trained properly which detracted from what should be a fine dining experience. I don't blame the staff as it's not their fault that they were not well trained or familiar with the food or wine list - it's poor/lazy management and to be honest the restaurant seems tired and lacks atmosphere - lucky the food was good. I expected much more from a business which has only recently been purchased amid a lot of hype.
Dear Bob, We do have a couple of new younger staff who work on the weekend. At all times they were under the supervision of the more experienced staff. There is always a learning period when new staff start, and they are always supported by the management and the rest of the staff.

It was a good lunch. Staffs were not equipped with the answers with regards to simple questions on the menu. Food was nice looking but taste was not as great as how it looks. It is not cheap for the value we get.
