Charge! The Black Toro opened its doors in 2012 and hasn’t looked back since. This restaurant was created with the desire to bring a higher level of dining to the bustling Kingsway strip, and is inspired by the colorful eateries of Latin America. Fore fronted by Head Chef Garen Maskal, The Black Toro aims to provide a new and fresh approach to Hispanic cuisine reworked to a Modern Australian palate. The dining room is classy and brought to life by the mural of a large black toro painted on one wall. The menu moves with the seasons and always has a fresh focus - start with a few small plates before diving into a large bowl of barbecued chili chicken with cumin caramel, toasted sesame and Mexican pilaf. With knowledgeable staff working the floor we’re sure you will have an amazing experience entailing a combination of innovative food, clever cocktails and a boutique wine list - what could be better?
