The venue was warm and inviting on a cold day. The service was cheery and friendly efficient. Bruschetta was great as was the Eye Fillet and the Bouillabaisse . Chips were also good. Make sure to leave room for the Sticky Date and Ginger pudding: it's beautiful. BYO with corkage at a reasonable $7, you can settle in for a very comfortable and enjoyable afternoon's dining.

Always reliable for good food. Love the extensive menu and being able to choose an entree size or mains size for much of the menu. Also caters well for children's meals

Only the second visit over 5-6 years but still very good value. Service was welcoming and cordial. The atmosphere was slightly noisy as recalled at the first visit but it was very nice to have a table for two in a relatively quiet corner. There were many families and small groups of 3-4 with a few couples. While very busy, the place ran reasonably well. Will consider going back there in a shorter time!

About Templestowe Living Room

Put your Feet up Templestowe Living Room is as cosy as your home’s lounge room. It’s a chilled-out place that can suit your needs whatever they may be. Templestowe Living Room is elegant enough to suit a corporate lunch and it’s homey enough for a romantic dinner. In the colder months, they’ve got the roaring fire going and a warming atmosphere. Their Mod Oz menu is just as flexible as their atmosphere, with food to satisfy just about anybody. They only use the freshest produce and their masterful chefs take extra pride in their creations. We just love seeing a menu full of flavours inspired by the world. Here you’ll find Turkish breads, Middle Eastern dips, Chinese buns and Mediterranean antipasto. Their ample pasta and risotto menu covers meat, seafood and poultry deliciously. And mains are a satisfying selection of steaks, oven-baked duck and pan-fried fish. Come down to Templestowe Living Room, relax and enjoy a good meal. Best dish: Market fresh fish of the day, pan roasted with a tomato and saffron bouillabaisse of calamari and mussels
