Great Indian restaurants are hard to come by in Melbourne and Tandoori Den won't disappoint!

Frequent visitors as this is probably the best Indian restaurant in Camberwell area. However, this visit was exceptional. The food and service was the best we've had there!

Great value, consistently good food and always busy atmosphere.

Food was good and service was friendly. But the service was unable to keep up with the large Mother's Day demand for takeaways. There was a very long wait between entrees and mains, while the takeaway queue was cleared.

Another delicious meal! My mum insist on going here where she is visiting from interstate, which is fine with us! Was also my husbands birthday. Yummy! Particularly enjoyed the beef 5 spice. The palak paneer was a little bland but everything else was spot on!

About Tandoori Den

Feeling Spicy? Tandoori Den isn’t the new kid on the block. It’s been around in Camberwell since 1981 – and for good reason. On any given night, you’re likely to see romantic dates, family celebrations and groups of friends gathered at Tandoori Den for some punchy, heat-inducing Indian food. This is a great destination with plenty of mouth-watering options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Start with the classic vegetable samosas, onion bhaji or some paneer tikka. There are heaps of meat appetizers too, including a mixed tandoori plate. When it comes to the main event, take your pick between delectable vegetarian dishes or chicken, lamb, beef or seafood. The chicken jal frazi is popular with locals. Or dive in to the pumpkin masala, which features butternut pumpkin tempered with five spices and cooked with masala sauce. There are heaps of options for Tandoori breads too, including a chocolate naan for dessert … or anytime! Best dish: Chicken vindaloo
