Been a few times as we love Sun Wah, but was disappointed with the food this time. My advice is don’t do chefs menu, choose your own dishes.

We have always enjoyed Sun Way but it has recently gone to a whole other level. The wine list was great with some good local choices from the Peninsula and the food was exceptional. The new Roast Duck dish was spot on.

The food is lovely and it is great that they have a separate gluten free menu.

About Sun Wah

Fancy a Trip to China? This isn’t Chinese food as you know it. Sun Wah integrates European influences and takes an innovative approach to Chinese fare, creating a modern fusion cuisine that steps out from the norm. Situated in Mordialloc, Sun Wah is all about the food. Patrons rave about the pork bun sliders, the lamb ribs and the dumplings. There is a dedicated vegetarian menu as well as a gluten-free menu, making Sun Wah the type of restaurant you can go to with a crowd knowing everyone will find something they fancy. If it’s too tough to decide just what to order, book ahead of time and try the chef’s degustation menu (again, there’s a vegie degustation menu too). It’s the best way to try a wide variety of signature dishes thoughtfully paired with matching wines. Next time you’re craving Chinese food in the Mornington Peninsula area, try something a little different. With flavours reflecting Hong Kong and Europe, you’ll be delightfully surprised. Best Dish: Peking duck
