Without question, the finest dining experience I have ever had. It is the very definition of service, quality and excellence.

We loved the setting and the atmosphere with the wonderful views and the toasty fire. The service was impeccable. The wines were lovely though a little restricted, definitely not a standard serve. While the foods were interesting and matched to the wine, with lots of wonderful flavors, it seemed that we were stuffed with large chunks of bread to help compensate for the size of the servings. While we would have conversation around our experience, we would be neutral as far as recommending St Hugos.
Thank you for your review. Rest assure that we will look into your feedback. Thank you once again for visiting.

We visited St Hugo’s by chance and it has been one of the notable in the 30+ wineries we have experienced in the last few days in Barossa. The wine and food selection were extensive and of high quality. However, the primary reason we appreciated St Hugo’s so greatly was the staff. Tim was so knowledge, attentive and down to earth. He made our experience all the more better. It is because of him we would recommend St Hugo’s to all of our friends and family. Thank you Tim!
Thank you Yianna for your kind review. We are absolutely delighted that you had a great time at St Hugo. Tim is indeed a valuable member of our team and I will sure to pass on your compliments to him. Hope to see you back in the near future.

This isn’t so much a meal as an experience! We have been several times and raved to everyone we know - we just took a Barossa local friend on the weekend who said it is absolutely the best of the Barossa & loved the food/wine matching concept. Do it & you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support! We are glad to be able to impress you on all your visits. Thank you for your recommending us to your peers and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Excellent venue for that special occassion. The service was impeccable & food exceptional apart from the venison gravy/onion dish - a little underwhelming for the price. Wine selection was limited to St Hugo label as to be expected but unfortunate. Overall the experience was very good.
Thank you for taking time to write this review and for your feedback. We will take your comments on board and review it with our team. We are glad you had an overall good experience and hope to see you back again.

About St Hugo

Praise for St Hugo! At the home of St Hugo in the Barossa Valley, enjoy bespoke tastings, explore the vineyard and enjoy specially crafted wine flights in the superb restaurant space. The restaurant is a collaboration between Executive Chef Mark McNamara and Chief Winemaker Dan Swincer, and the pair have worked to produce an incredible expression of fine food and wine. The restaurant itself is stunning and very elegant so you know you’re in for a treat. Best dish: the chef’s table option - trust us!
