We visit Spice Temple about each visit to Sydney from Perth, sadly only a few trimes this year. The food , service , cocktail and wine menu is also very good. Have never had a complaintr about coming to Spice Temple, if I did I wouild not return, your feet do better talking than complaining, if we did not enjoy we would not retrurn.

A little hard to find, but well worth the effort. We had the $79 banquet - sooooo much food and all delicious.

The food was absolutely spectacular! Spice Temple was my grandfathers favourite restaurant so on the first anniversary of his passing we went back to celebrate him and all the things he loved to eat most and it was just a truly lovely evening.

We had the banquet menu and it was delicious. We really enjoyed the flavours of the food and the cocktails were lovely. Service was amazingly attentive, yet not intrusive. Only minor comment is that I think the banquet came too quickly - I would prefer to eat it a little bit slower. But really that's not a complaint and it was all worth it!

its a great place, great food, v.good service. We only wanted a late night supper so no one was eating heartily but we still spent $100/head, admittedly with wine. Be prepared to spend $150/head if eating a full dinner

About Spice Temple

Spice Up My Life Down in the basement of Sydney’s City Mutual Building, you’ll find yourself in a very exclusive little hideout. It’s the Spice Temple, a Chinese restaurant like no other. The low moody lighting instantly put you in the mood for... romance, and the chic decor gives the place so much elegance. Run by pioneering chef, Neil Perry, the Spice Temple serves food inspired by regional Chinese dishes, steering clear of your run-of-the-mill Cantonese. Flavours are taken from the provinces and blended into unique and modern dishes, signatures of this world-class chef. Culinary elements include pickled and fermented ingredients and the aromatic dried spices of China. Wines have been selected to match each and every meal, and cocktails from the bar are as carefully created as the cuisine. The service, needless to say, is excellent at this sophisticated restaurant, and the vibe is geared towards opulence and luxury. Even the music is carefully chosen, done by the man who made soundtracks for Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet. Romantic, no? So why not take that special someone somewhere ... special? This restaurant is receiving rave reviews for its sexiness. Best Dish: mango pudding with Chantilly cream and the 3 flavours eggplant
