Always enjoy going to Duende. Food is reasonably priced. They do have some unusual wines, although they are on the pricey side.

Best food and atmosphere , just wish they had lunch specials not just after 4 pm specials . But it’s got such great atmosphere you stay for hours and staff are exceptional and service is top class . This Italian restaurant is one of the best we have visited . It feels like you are in Italy and loads of Italians eat here . It is relaxed and spectacular . Just wonderful .This is a must to visit in Perth.

A Touch of Tuscany This grand old Northbridge institution was one of the first Italian restaurants in Perth. It has always been popular, having fed the hungry souls of Northbridge for over 50 years. But proprietor Alfonso Di Lanzo doesn’t rest on his laurels. He prides himself on making sure that his food is always made from the freshest ingredients. When you arrive he always gives you the impression that you are his most important customer and he conducts his staff like a Latin maestro. You can sit under the umbrellas on the wide James Street pavement outside or go inside and imagine yourself in a restaurant in the middle of Tuscany. This place has made itself famous serving traditional homemade Italian fare and they don’t try to change it, they just keep making it better. So try something traditional, like the homemade beef lasagne with béchamel and Napolitana Sauce, or the linguini primavera which comes with marinated artichoke, olives, mushrooms, grilled capsicum and chilli, basil and cherry tomatoes "from the foothills of Vesuvius". Best Dish: Gnocchi
