The point which fell a bit short of expectations was the fact that the main courses did not arrive simultaneously. Other than that everything was perfect

Pretty good Thai meal, with the chef willing to do us vegetarian options, in this nice and compact place at Rockeby road in the Subi precinct. Fairly authentic Tom Yum, Green curry and Pad Thai , this is a regular for us at lunch.BYO wines Bookings recommended as it gets busy in the evenings.

Great spot for a lovely meal, a few doors down from the Regal Theatre, so a good venue for pre-theatre dinner. Friendly staff, too.

About Six Senses Thai

My Senses Are Tingling Fusion food is the new culinary buzzword, but ‘flash in the pan’ this up-market, little Thai kitchen is anything but. Six Senses Thai Restaurant is squeezed between other restaurant and retail stores on Subiaco’s busy Rokeby Road. Blink and you’d almost miss it. Six Senses breaks through Subiaco’s cluttered restaurant space with an abundance of fresh Australian produce married with traditional Thai flavours. Its signature dishes include the much-loved southern Thailand massamun lamb shanks, the ‘Heavenly Spare Ribs’ cooked in the chef’s very own marinade, or the well-known pad see IW noodles. And what better to complement the spice and sizzle of Six Senses culinary delights than homemade lemon ice tea or a cleansing coconut juice served in a whole coconut shell? Overall this buzzing little restaurant will set all your senses alight with dishes simply bursting with flavour and freshness. Best dish: Five spices duck.
