Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. We liked the decor and being able to see into the kitchen. Steak was nicely cooked, impressive cheesecake and accommodating staff.

Mary and the Chef's service were wonderful. They catered to my husband's many food allergies and gifted us with dessert for our anniversary. :)

Party of 6 pax on a Wednesday night, not overly busy, first time visitors and keen to experience some fresh from the farm culinary delights. So? How was it? Service was less than great with a few exceptions; the advice on the jus was spot on and well explained. It took a long time between being shown to table and receiving menus, ordering drinks, ordering food and receiving what we ordered...one ginger beer is still MIA...only offered tap rather than the option of bottled artisan mineral water, which would have been a nice touch. Due to half hearted service, didn't have time to experience dessert aside from visually from other guests; these did look good and I'm disappointed not to have experienced the apple tatin... The antipasto plates were generous, prosciutto and mortadella decidedly lovely although the rosemary flatbread left a little to be desired in appearance and taste... Chef did delight however with the corn fed chicken and the rack of lamb was a thing of joy...well flavoured, exquisitely rare, encapsulated in a delicious and memorable herb crust - brilliant execution Sir! The vegetarian options were delicious and more than one, which, in a restaurant specialising in carnivorous delights was remarkable.... Would I go back? Yes...just to see if they proved me wrong with the service and to have the delight of that lamb again...oh Chef! Do that to me one more time...

A lovely restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The eye fillet was cooked perfectly and the rub was very tasty.
