The food was great! We ordered everything to share, and it was tasty and moreish. Each dish had its own flavours (some places it all tastes kind of the same), and they were all so good. The only downside was a couple of menu items had sold out, but that's testament to the quality and popularity! Would definitely recommend Simply Spanish and would go back.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant, my friends and I we ordered tapas and paella’s to share. The croquettes of the day were delicious, the best one ever so far. The seafood paella and vegetarian paella were soo tasty. Definitely recommend and will be back.

About Simply Spanish

Simply the best Simply Spanish has become so popular that they’ve recently opened several other eateries, including a cheerful little restaurant in Melbourne CBD on Bourke Street. It’s just as its name implies – simple Spanish favourites cooked to perfection. After just one bite of the award-winning paella, you’ll feel as if you’re back in the seafront restaurants in Valencia. There are authentic Spanish beers as well as a thirst-quenching house sangria, filled with chunky fruits and spicy red wine. Roomy outdoor seating is available, dotted with bright red and yellow chairs while the inside is an explosion of neon bulls, green glass bottle lights and blackboards with the day’s specials. Start with some tapas, including the fried goat cheese balls and gluten-free lamb cutlets, then move onto a gourmet paella which is cooked to order and served in a traditional pan. Make sure you leave room for the churros with cinnamon sugar and chocolate vodka sauce though! Is your mouth watering yet? Best dish: Provincial Big Pan paella
