A steal at Silver The chef at Silver Spoon Indian Restaurant recommends the mushroom makki masala or the chicken Chettinand, and they certainly sounds delicious – but what caught our eye was the Lamb Lemon Hara Dhaniya, lamb marinated in yogurt with coriander or even the korma Ceylon-style that you can order with meat, fish, prawn or as a vegetarian option. Regulars rave about the authentic tastes and the fact that because it’s a BYO joint it’s good value for money if you’re looking for a fun night out that won’t break the bank. They also love the fact that the ingredients are fresh, and the food clearly made with care. We love the fact that the service is fast and friendly, and that while all your favourite Indian dishes are on the menu, the use of freshly ground spices and herbs makes the fare a cut above. All this and most dishes come with complimentary rice and raita. Best dish: Chef’s special biryani
