Had 4 of us on Sunday. Crowded, and had to wait a little while, but understandable. Roast excellent and cheap. Good coffees. A very pleasant find.

We booked for our fathers birthday near the fireplace, it was nice and cosy. Despite being busy, the food was served quick and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. It's a nice old pub with it's own charm and character.

About Royal Cricketers Arms

A pub with a difference First opened in 1880, the recently refurbished and heritage listed Royal Cricketers Arms pub in Blacktown is the perfect watering hole. This picture-perfect pub is caters for all, and it’s traditional old world atmosphere, delicious food and relaxed leafy surrounds are all crowd pleasers. The Bistro is open 7 days a week and has a comprehensive (and affordable) menu. The menu is a cut above your average pub grub and stuffed full of choice and it's the presentation takes things to the next level. And while there may be no TAB or pool table, there is live music, comedy nights, nightly meal specials and an excellent happy hour! For a pub with a difference try the RCA. Best dish: famous london pie -steak & mushroom ragout, golden puff, creamy mash & mushy peas
