Not sure there were enough options to chose from. Some probably not worth the cost!

Have now been to Rose and Crown for three weeks running on a Monday evening ,food and service is always great but because this restaurant is so popular on this evening I find that we are having to wait along time for meals to be delivered ,,,,,,,,,waiting 45 minutes for a main meal especially when you have younger people is not exceptably , perhaps more staff in kitchen would be a help .....

A good all rounder. Offers many different eating areas depending on the mood and occasion at this historical venue.

How wonderful to be taken out to breakfast and the tables had beautiful white linen tablecloths plus all set to go .....definitely a plus as far as I’m concerned.

We went on a Sunday night. The Food was amazing but the service was rubbish. It to them 45 minutes to come and take our order! The meal did not take more than an average time to arrive once ordered. The restaurant was full but there were plenty of waitstaff, they seemed to be running around doing nothing.

About Rose and Crown

Crowning glory This National Trust property was built in 1841 and has been a rest stop for travellers since the earliest days of the Swan River Colony. Located in Guildford, on the gateway to the Swan Valley wine region, the hotel is a magnet for tourists and locals alike. Wearing the appellation of oldest WA hotel with pride, the venue still manages to be up-to-date and offers three venues to appeal to people wanting casual, formal and intimate dining. Locals have dubbed it the best beer garden in WA. Others rave about the gorgeous old architecture, the lovely garden and the romantic setting for dinner for couples, or the cosy setting by the fireplace in winter. The Rose and Crown is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with speciality menus for the bars during the week and an extensive pizza menu on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you are feeling hungry try the 300g King Henry port cutlet with prosciutto-wrapped asparagus and parmesan and rosemary gallette served with café de Paris butter. Best dish: house made Nero pasta with local fish, calamari, prawns, red chilli, extra virgin olive oil and white truffle oil with crispy basil
