Since my last visit many years ago. the whole place has been renovated into a delightful venue and especially in the restaurant area, no longer noisy and unable hear others as is the case in many pub type venues. A delightful venue that we would eat at again with friends or family. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

About Rose and Crown

Crowning glory This National Trust property was built in 1841 and has been a rest stop for travellers since the earliest days of the Swan River Colony. Located in Guildford, on the gateway to the Swan Valley wine region, the hotel is a magnet for tourists and locals alike. Wearing the appellation of oldest WA hotel with pride, the venue still manages to be up-to-date and offers three venues to appeal to people wanting casual, formal and intimate dining. Locals have dubbed it the best beer garden in WA.
