Fresh oysters then perfectly chargrilled steak. Others had the lamb shoulder - falling off the bone - wow!

The price of menu on Dimmi was outdated. It’s now a few dollars more expensive. Not sure who is responsible to update the menu in Dimmi.

The meal that we both had was superb. We had the $39 lunch special and chose the porterhouse. Well presented, steak cooked to perfection and deserts a treat. We feel that the wine list is 10-15% overpriced and had it been lower we would have had maybe a beer to start and another glass of wine. Service was very good except that the waiter was a bit slow in refilling wine glasses. A great experience and we will be back.

About Roaring Grill

Grill and Chill. For the freshest, seasonal local Tasmanian produce, look no further! The Roaring Grill is is here to present the best that Tasmania has to offer. The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, created by the leather couches, wooden decor, and warm lighting. This unpretentious venue is the perfect spot to meet friends for a chilled dinner. You’ll find meat, meat and more meat on the menu with many cuts of steak on offer. Served with plenty of potatoes and salads, be sure to mop up the Bearnaise sauce with your last piece of steak before shoving it in your gob. Best dish: The Roaring Skewers with Shaslik rice.
