Its not often I give a venue full marks, but the Red Ochre definitely deserves it. Fabulous location, fantastic food, excellent service and generous servings makes it great value - what more can you ask for!

All great food and service. Went there because a voucher in the Entertainment Book. Toilets need updating by 20 years!

Have been here several times. Always great food and service. We had our wedding dinner here and due to the short time frame we had in organising it, I didn’t think to ask about vegetarians and they were happy to oblige.

Food, drinks and service were amazing as it always has been. Will continue to return to return to the Adelaide gem.

Service was absolutely topnotch. The barramundi was nice with the onion bhaji, the mushroom gnocchi was grey and gluey, the carrot and green beans side dishes were murdalated.... descriptions sounded intriguing and delicious but the reality proved sad and dejected and not particularly flavourful or fresh. We have truly loved Red Ochre for many years, but we sat at the side of the restaurant where the exterior infrastructure framing viewed immediately overhead through the glass is grotty and needs a really good pressure hose cleaning. Dismaying, disturbing urban decay. I want to emphasize again, the service was sterling, absolutely.

About Red Ochre Grill

In the Red Red Ochre is a firm favourite amongst South Australian locals and visitors alike, after a successful move several years back to its current, permanent home on the banks of the River Torrens which accentuates the views of the beautiful Festival Centre, major hotels and Adelaide skyline. The cuisine at Red Ochre has always been top notch, and service is of the highest quality. The décor is light, airy and hushed, allowing that perfect first date or special occasion to flourish. Try the signature dishes such as the salt and pepper crocodile, or perhaps some miso and sesame-crusted yellow fin tuna. Just don't forget to save room for the Red Ochre liquid Toblerone - it's sensational - or if you’re trying to impress an overseas guest, suggest they try the wattleseed pavlova. Best dish: North QLD Fortune Bay barramundi.
