The staff are very attentive and welcoming! Great advice on the food and wine, which was delicious. This is definitely fine dining to be saved for special occasions.

Outstanding views with delicious food. The only negative thing I would say is that the portions are small......only 1 piece of suckling pig with a small side of flesh!!!!! That was a disappointment. My friend had the tiniest piece of barramundi too. The food is so delicious that you just want more than the serving given to you. I would still recommend and return to Pilu. It is a top restaurant for sure!.

I used to love this restaurant , been following the original chef owner for years . This time , the meals are too salty and the portions are tiny . Even it’s grest view but value is not matching with the quality of food . I am a bit disappointed but will try again .

This award winning Italian restaurant set on Freshwater Beach is a sight for sore eyes. Walk up the stairs of the grand weatherboard beauty and you’ll feel like you’re visiting your friend's beach house for dinner. Sit down in the window seat with point blank views of the beautiful beach with some crumbed smoked eel balls with baby mussels and you’ll quickly remember that you’re in the very capable hands of Pilu himself, with his years of expertise and modern flair making its way into each and every dish. Pilu has character and charm but oozes warmth and comfort. The desserts are almost as breathtaking as the views so do yourself and favour and order the corbezzolo honey mousse, spiced sponge, roasted macadamias and a Sardinian beer sorbet.
