Food there are nice in general. Visited this place many times. 1. Cauliflower Veloute, Bacon, Jalaperino, Brie (10/10) 2. Cured Salmon, Wasabi Sorbet, Wakeme, Ponzu (8/10) 3. Cleanser (10/10) 4. Duck, Fig, Buttermilk, Pumpkin (9/10) 5. Dorper Lamb, Eggplant, Caper, Purple Congo (9/10) 6. Market Fish, Herb Crust, Mussels, Fennel, Fermented Plum (6/10) 7. Pre Dessert (4/10) 8. Death By Chocolate (7/10) 9. Petite Fours (4/10)

One of the vegetarians was disappointed with the lack of variety in their menu. She thought that at least 3 of the dishes were too similar, e.g. the Porcini serving followed by the Mushrooms dish.
Thank you for your feed back, we appreciate both positive and negative. With regards to the vegetarian menu, although mainly Italian dishes, we would not consider them “ similar”, there were THREE different dishes made to order which were not on the menu for your guest. We will always bend over backwards for any guests but I can be made a lot easier on everyone when the guest tells the staff about ant diatary or dislikes. Should your guest decide to join us at petite mort again for dinner, I would like to talk to her prior to taylor a menu just for her. Thank you, Todd Stuart, chef/owner

Rate: 5/10. Amazing food! The degustation menu delicious! Problems: it is a fixed menu, waiters should now the ingredients and processes by heart, it is the same menu every day! They didn’t. Drinks were good. Major problem: even though it is a 10-course menu, the portions are tiny, they should be double of what they are. We were four and we ended up hungry eating afterwards at a bar. Advice for atmosphere, 2 big chandeliers with warm lightning would make wonders. You are in the right track, the food certainly was delicious and kudos to the pastry chef.
