A fantastic french restaurant that has been a local favourite of mine for many years. We are always well looked after by the wait staff, the food is consistently good, and, most of all, being able to bring special bottles of wine from our cellar to have with our meal.

Second visit to continue exploring the menu, this time 5 of us. It was pretty good with prompt courteous service and tasty food. The rack of veal was very nice with truffles mash that could have had just a dash more butter. The fish of the day (baramundi) with scallops with fresh produce was light but still satisfying. The only negative was somewhat overdone (chef's choice) fresh vegetables. Will aim to go again.

Great food with plenty of choices and BYO a bonus

First visit gave reasonably pleasant impressions. The mains (Plat du jour of fish and lamb) were very reasonably sized and tasty. Service was a combined effort from 3 staff which resulted in slight gaps. The only negative experience was a comment from my dinner partner who commented that the ladies toilet needed some attention.

About Paris Go

A Little Piece of Paris in Carlton If it’s some Parisian panache you’re after, this is the place. Think outside the Italian box next time you’re in Carlton and go for a bit of French flair instead. You’ll get just what you’d expect from a French institution—style, service, mouth-watering food and a wide-ranging selection of wines. Best dish? There are probably too many to mention, and the daily specials are always worth considering. The charcuterie platter is always a winning start. The duck, oysters, mussels and steak tartare are regular favourites, too. Oh and don’t forget the pommes frites either. The menu features all of the old French standbys you’d expect—and want—served in a warm, crowded-but-cosy environment. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or bring a date or out-of-town guests. If you want to impress, that is. This is the type of French restaurant you’ll keep coming back to. And you’ll love it even more each time, especially once you try the desserts. Best dish: steak tartare
