Went to give the Tuesday $5 steak and chips a go and we were all very pleasantly surprised. The rump steak was cooked perfectly for everyone (3 different ways)and while it is on the smaller side, its a perfect size for a dinner that won't leave you overstuffed. Really great chips and the meal comes with gravy (a decent one too!) Will definitely go again! Booking is recommended.

We booked on line, which was quite handy and efficient. When we arrived at the restaurant there was about 10 people in a queue waiting to place their order, as we had three kids all we wanted really was to sit at our allocated table but this was not possible due to not knowing where the staff were going to seat us. After several minutes we approached the bar and asked the lady to help us which she did as she went to the bistro counter and verified our booking, basically she said pick any table, which we did. We then ordered and the meals came out not together but this was ok. I had the Prawn Curry which was food but that was about it, the serve was five prawns and two extra tails plus rice and a large lettuce leaf, I probably would not rave about it to future diners, but it filled me. Having been in the hotel trade I realise that it it difficult to always have the correct number of staff on duty but my main gripe was the wait for a table. Can we suggest that you install a white board near the entrance with the customers reference number ands number of pax and the table number so that people can sit down and browse the menu prior to placing their order.
