Great food, table service and atmosphere, it was busy so we did have to wait way to long for our mains to arrive which they did apologise for and give us a free drink

Magnificent food, staff and atmosphere. Same awesome quality every time we go there. Cannot praise it highly enough and I have been to Mexico!!!

Entire venue/food experience was comparable to a Melbourne. Which coming from there is really impressive!

We loved this restaurant. Terrific service and a good menu. Great decor & atmosphere. Started with a Margarita (half price Tuesday) We chose small portions. The Refried Beans were exceptional. Pork Belly Quesadilla good and the Taco Cauliflower very good. A good experience all round. There is a 3 hour car park in a street behind the restaurant and one in a street just about opposite.

Great food, and a great dining room. We all enjoyed the range of tacos and excellent presentation. Service was patchy however.

Hobart's holy grail Hobart’s dining scene is growing from strength to strength with top notch eateries found on every corner. One of our favourites is Pancho Villa, a cheeky Mexican retreat boasting a killer vibe, an excellent drinks list and some pumped up Mexican eats. During the summer months this place is packed with punters seeking booze and bar snacks. And in the winter the crypt like dining space and courtyard turn into a cosy sanctuary ideal for friendly get togethers or even a date. Menu highlights include the tacos which come stuffed with things like chilli pulled pork and salsa roja, ox tongue and soft shell crab. You can also grab larger mains from both ‘land’ and ‘sea’, plus some beautiful desserts… rich curro dulce de leche or refreshing tangy lime, avocado and green tea tart. Oh, and if you love tequila - this is THE place for you. With pages upon pages of different drops plus the option for a tequila ‘flight’ it really doesn’t get much better than this. Best dish: beef cheek with cerveza negra & chipotle braised, with avocado & lime puree & salsa cocida.
