The food was delicious, I'd highly recommend the pasta. Service was good, friendly staff. And the house red was tasty.

Great place but we were unlucky with service as our order was not passed to kitchen correctly This is likely not typical

The flavours of every dish were exquisite. Their Olivigna red wine was full bodied and beautiful. The only things I'd have preferred were the first water being cold instead of lukewarm and I'd love more of that beautiful bread.
Joan thank you for your feedback and very happy you enjoyed your experience at Olivigna

We’ve been there for dinner in winter on a Friday night and it was divine. Lunch on a Saturday in autumn though, very busy, packed to the rafters, loud, bad accoustics, hard to have a conversation. Won’t do that again! Food and service lovely though, and they knew it was Dads bday so they put a candle in his dessert, very nice :)
Hi Jill thank you for your feedback....we are glad you enjoyed your experience albeit the issue of being noisy. We look forward to see you soon ..perhaps on a less noisy session

Really beautiful venue. Wine and food was excellent and there was plenty of it. We had the 4 course menu and we pleasantly surprised that we were served 2 different mains as one course. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Shamini...thank you for your kind and encouraging words ...they mean a great deal to us...look forward to see you in the near future

About Olivigna

A little bit of Italy in Warrandyte... Love the idea of sunning yourself in Tuscany but can’t find the time or the coin to make it to the Italian hills? Believe it or not, a little bit of Italy can be found at Olivigna at Warrandyte South - only 30 minutes out of Melbourne’s CBD! Drive up to Olivigna and let the stress of a busy work week wash away. Surrounded by tall cypress trees, you’ll feel like you're winding your way up the beautiful Tuscan Hills. With 20 acres around you with olive groves, a vineyard, orchard and garden, you can’t ask for a better location for a weekend (or mid week) getaway. The rustic stone restaurant (known as La Sala) is open and beautifully bright with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the vast estate and the Tuscan (reality check: Warrandyte) hills. The commanding gothic chandeliers over the fireplace and dining room give a real sense of occasion with small, thoughtful touches such as the wooden shoe lasts picked up from France to use as coat racks. So what about the food? Inspired by a paddock to plate philosophy, La Sala serves up a range of Italian dishes from wood fired pizzas to antipasto platters and pastas. Enjoy a little piece of Italy in AUS at Olivinga estate.
