This is my third visit to Sydney from New York, and I have had the opportunity to explore the city’s fine dining establishments each time I have been here. My meal at No. 1 Bent was by far the most memorable I have had in Sydney. Highly recommend (and do yourself the favor of indulging in the duck fat potatoes!).

Excellent service is tricky to find these days, however I'm happy to say that it's still at No 1 Bent Street. A great selection of share dishes accompanied by a great wine list, made for a wonderful early dinner on a Friday night. Feels like it doesn't really get busy until perhaps 8:30 on a Friday.

Had the special set menu for 50% off and it was really delicious! Yummy cocktails as well. Great service and the homemade bread was good too!

Lovely service and upon request they were happy to provide us with a small cupcake and candle for the birthday girl! They even sang us happy birthday. Food was great too.

About No.1 Bent Street by Mike

Who is this Mike that we have been hearing so much about? Well, Mike is Mike McEnearney, formerly an Executive Chef at Rockpool and he has opened up a very unique dinning experience, based on a very simple concept. Mike aims to go against traditional dining norms and from this has created a cafeteria-style experience set in a Rosebery warehouse. The food is incredibly fresh and varies due to whats in season.
