Pate was a highlight, cocktails were good, service was good, bread was delicious, feta pie was nice but not incredible, sides of veggies were both good.

Been dying to dine at this restaurant and finally took the plunge after Dimmi released a fantastic offer! A really nice ambience for casual dining, but still sophisticated. Everything on the set menu was delicious, and perfect for the season. I wish they had more affordable wine selections, it was definitely more on the steep end for by the glass orders.

We had Mike's menu which was about 5-6 courses of pure heaven. It included fresh creative salads, melt in you mouth scallops, a succulent lamb and one of he best sticky toffee puddings I've had!. Thoroughly recommended!

About No.1 Bent Street by Mike

Mike is back! Mike McEnearney from Rosebery's much loved Kitchen By Mike is back - setting up shop in Sydney's CBD. His new venture, No.1 Bent Street By Mike, delivers the same sustainable ethos that he is famous for - applying it to a more formal culinary concept. The menu is small but beautifully executed, changing daily to reflect seasonal produce that has been singled out and scrupulously sourced. All of the meat is sustainably farmed, grass fed, hand reared and hormone free - it's ethical farming to the max! Everything is designed to be shared so start in order of 'light' to 'heavy' and work your way through the menu. Mike suggests that you order a few lighter dishes to start and then a couple more substantial dishes plus a few extras and sides. Be bold, get stuck in and enjoy the process!
