Good for lunch. Food is inexpensive; alcohol a little less so, but still reasonable

Great atmosphere. Great deal for a Thursday night. Food was nice may be just on the smaller potion size overall

First visit to Mr Edwards. Arrived on a Friday lunchtime so the place was buzzy and vibrant as there were a few large tables of office workers enjoying their end of week social lunch. Staff were efficient and friendly. We choose the rump steak and porterhouse steak, both medium rare and arrived cooked to perfection. The rosemary salted chips on the side were really yummy! We noted Mr Edwards also offer a variety of smoked meats served with a variety of breads, pickles and cheeses along with a wide choice of crafted beers. Mr Edwards is worth putting on your list. We will definitely be going back.

It was the first time that we'd eaten here and we all enjoyed our meals, although my husband said that his steak was a bit grisily. I was also a bit disappointed that there were only two desserts to choose from at lunch time. We got a very good deal with our Entertainment Book cards though.
