A fine example of focus. They only do a select few dishes. But boy do they do them well. Savoured every bite from first to last.

Mimis is a great little neighbourhood restaurant that we go back to time and time again. Usually for a family event, birthdays etc and the occasional romantic dinner for two. We love them.

Dessert was amazing! Rosewater and pistachio semi-freddo....just delicious. I'll come back just for that :)

About Mimi's Restaurant

Mamma Mimi! One look at Mimi’s menu says it all — pizza, pasta and more. With the style of a European bistro, Mimi’s brings a taste of the Mediterranean to Camberwell. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the type of place where you might expect to see a few of the locals grabbing a bite. Mimi’s serves the kind of comforting food that just about everyone will enjoy. Go for a traditional or gourmet pizza. The Blazin pizza might take your fancy; it features hot salami, olives, fresh mint, Meredith goat’s cheese and fresh lemon. Or for the more traditional perhaps the Capricciosa, which comes topped with leg ham, mushrooms, olives, anchovies and mozzarella. There’s a range of pasta and risotto to choose from, including linguine with lobster and prawns or a cauliflower and taleggio risotto that will make you weak in the knees. What about burgers? Schnitzels? Beer-battered fish and chips? Yep, Mimi’s has that too. It’s the type of casual place where you can duck in for an old favourite, or maybe even branch out and find a new one. Best dish: Seafood linguine
