Food was delicious, specially the samosas and chilli naan. Mains were a bit pricey.. @$24 each they should come with rice. Most other Indian restaurants we go to, mains are between $16-$21 so you are happy to pay extra for rice. House white wine though at $7 a glass was great value a paired well with the food.

We have had several take away meals from Metro and the food is amazing. It's close to the Regal theatre, so would be a great place for a pre show meal.

Food pretty good. Staff were struggling to keep up with workload and seemed stressed.

About Metro Indian Restaurant

City Slicker Metro Indian Restaurant is located in the bustling hub of Subiaco, an area renowned forits restaurants. The Metro manages to stand out through its friendly service, passion for modern Indian cuisine and comprehensive menu that is bound to have something to cater for even the fussiest of foodies. The decor is modern with striking light fittings and purple accents and although it can accommodate large numbers of diners, it’s best to book as they can get busy. The venue caters for large groups and is a favourite with families. When ordering drinks, the knowledgeable bar staff are happy to whip up a cocktail or mixer to your taste. Soups are a particular specialty with the Northern Indian tomato shorba with besan and the traditional chicken soup (which differs from its Western counterpart through the addition of traditional spices) especially noteworthy. Another go-to dish for regulars in the know is the mixed seafood sizzler with prawns, scallops and fish fillets stir fried with capsicum, onion, tomato and chilli. Best dish: goat curry, which is hot and spicy and served on the bone and simmered until the ground authentic spices are absorbed.
