It's a great place for a casual lunch. I always overorder but never feel bad about it.

Meat platters were very nice. We were surprised with the seafood platter. Better than any seafood restaurant in Melbourne. Best dishes were smoked mussels, octopus, salmon, lamb ribs and brisket. Great place!!!

I don't think I could fault Meatworks even if I wanted to.

The staff is very friendly and the service is incredible! We ordered the meat platter with a salad side, and their wagu beef pasta, food was very well cooked and delicious. Good flavor and good size serving too. We enjoy very much and will definitely go back again!

About Meatworks Co

Whether you like it slow-roasted, braised or smoked... Meatworks Co is a pleasure palace for carnivores. The name behind some of Sydney's favorite eateries – Jones The Grocer & The Victoria Room – Lindsay Jones-Evans, brings his meticulous design skills to this newly renovated South Melbourne address. The result? A unique house of meat, where the team create flavours inspired by the best of East & West - dished up with delicious style and flare. If you’re not a meat lover, never fear, seafood-fans and vegetarians can also find something to enjoy - think spicy silken tofu with smoked pumpkin, or smoked salmon and pomegranate salad - and there’s also delicious desserts and beautiful cocktails to try! Our ultimate combo would have to be the red meat platter, paired with a Knight King cocktail and topped off with the chocolate fondant with double cream and toasted nuts. (Just don’t count the calories). Best dish: red meat platter for two.
