Only after being seated and drinks ordered were we advised that the majority of the meat dishes were not available to order. This should have been communicated to us before being seated.

Bit disappointing really, beers were good but there was no atmosphere, very quiet. One reason might be the slow service which didn’t seem particularly flexible. We had a booking which wasn’t even for the latest time and still we were too late for dessert which we were only informed of after asking. There were lots of staff but it seemed like their focus was on cleaning up and getting out. Food was alright, sides were good but meat could have been more tender. Overall, wouldn’t rush back.

Although the food was tasty, the lack of communication between wait staff meant that we waited along time for our drinks to arrive ( this included 3 beer tasting puddles, only 2 arrived but we were still charged for 3). We asked to order our drinks first and then had to wait until the drinks arrived before we made our food order, which we had to tell the waitress had not been taken. Not all the food arrived at the same time. The service really spoilt the meal.

Great wee place, food, staff and drinks were all delightful. Slight mix up with 2 of our parties meals so they ended up eating when the rest of us were near on finished. Bar that. Brilliant. Would definitely go back. We were a party of 13 with 5 kids in tow and the bouncy castle out back was an excellent touch and fantastic surprise! 😃

My Husband and I really enjoyed the quality of the food. The Bao Buns were very generous in size and fillings and tasted fresh. My husband had the degustation which consisted of a choice of three dishes and a beer to complement with each. While the each dish was very tasty, cooked well and the beer definitely complemented each meal he found the quantity of each was lacking, especially the beer. It arrived in a tiny tasting glass that was down the hatch in two thirsty gulps. For $50 you would expect more so we did not consider it value for money. The staff was lovely and polite however it took almost an hour to receive the start of our meals which left us frustrated and starting to regret our choice for lunch. If they could get their timing sorted it would rate a lot higher in our eyes as it has a lot going for it. However when your getting hungry between courses it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. When we expressed our dissatisfaction in the way our lunch unfolded we were shouted our first two wines which valued at nearly $20 so at least they were prepared to give us some compensation, that helps.
