If have one more waiter is better.

Food was ok but not very good quality. For the price, it’s not too bad though. I’d prefer to go to the restaurants near the Queen Victoria Market for better BBQ.

Very good in general

There were not many customers when we were there and music was loud. The atmosphere was quite dull to be honest. As for food, BBQ was just average. Buffet was ok with good selection but most dishes were cold. Overall if you prefer quantity then this place might be right. I wouldn't return though unless price is reduced to $25-30 pp instead of $40.

I have been loyal customer for years.

It was pretty awful if I am being honest. The place was smoky when we arrived and the service was terrible. The waitresses were not clear on what we were asking for when questioning the menu and process. The BBQ aspect was good but were were neglected towards the end by the waitresses. The buffet was a weird mix of Korean, Italian and salads. We had to leave early without finishing our wine because on the table next to us, the air vent caught on fire and completely filled the restaurant. It was terrible. We were coughing and our eyes were watering. It was awful.

Buffet is worth it. There are two kinds - self serve or BBQ. Self serve is less that $15pp! Would definitely come back just for the self serve buffet. BBQ Buffet was just okay.

Cozy, chill vibe. Side dishes were really nice too! You get your money's worth. Definitely going back soon!

About Marroo Korean

Some Like it Smoky Follow the smell of Korean barbeque in Melbourne’s CBD and you’ll find yourself on Little Collins Street at the doorstep of Marroo Korean BBQ and Bar. Sure, your clothes may still smell like rich smoky BBQ for a day or two, but that’s part of the fun. You know the drill—order up and then watch in wonder as your food is cooked right in front of you at the table. Whether you choose the pork, the mussels, the beef or a little of everything to share, you’ll walk away satisfied. Of course you wouldn’t want to miss out on the selection of Kimchi at Marroo either. It comes highly recommended. Looking for a fun and satisfying weekend lunch spot? Marroo is it. Check out the lunch buffet special. You won’t leave hungry. Overall, the servings are generous and good value. Not sure what to try? Go for the spicy chicken. Best Dish: spicy chicken
