Could not fault the food or service, a little more expensive than other Chinese restaurants

Very disappointed with the food, it was Yum Cha style and we were bombarded with our selection of dumplings all at one, barely warm and not cooked to order. The waiter stood right beside our table and cleared the table as we put a morsel of food into our mouths, felt rushed and very uncomfortable.

About Man Tong Kitchen

Peking Duck Paradise It’s like walking into a palace when you enter Man Tong Kitchen in the Crown Casino complex. The rich red and gold colours, marble pillars, giant wooden lanterns and empty birdcages certainly make a grand impression. But when it comes to the food, it’s entirely approachable and familiar, making Man Tong just right for a big — and hungry — group of diners. That’s what Man Tong is all about, really — a full house of family and friends eating together, whether for a special occasion or just because. Man Tong gives you an excuse for a gathering with its authentic Chinese cuisine, which highlights different regions and cities of China. Start with some dim sum and dumplings. You can choose steamed, pan fried or deep fried. The appetisers don’t stop there. Go for the lobster or Chinese sausage before moving on to one of many soups, including a crabmeat sweet corn soup. If you’ve brought a group, order the Peking duck; it’s a signature dish not to be missed. Whatever your tastes, you’ll find plenty of options on the expansive menu at Man Tong. All the more reason to grab a group of friends and try a bit of it all. Best dish: Peking duck
