An enjoyable Japanese fusion that was full of flavours, and their desserts are lovely to look at but taste really good.

Spending $200+ on our evening to be then charge 1.4% surcharge on using a credit card is pretty poor. Unsure as to why i was required to hand write. How much we were charged for our evening on a separate form. Asides from that we had a wonderful time.

About Lilotang Japanese

Head Chef Shunsuke Ota combines his traditional Japanese training and techniques with new methods and techniques that he develops himself, creating modern Japanese dishes that begin with tradition but have evolved to be very much his own style. Located in the Burbury Hotel, the restaurant is slick with pale timber walls illuminated by strip lighting and lemon-yellow pops of colour. Semi private dining areas are created by hanging timber panels - giving you a touch of privacy if required, with views of the courtyard in the hotel. The menu consists of many tasty Japanese morsels like sashimi, robata-grilled yakitori skewers and duck breast sukiyaki with tempura egg. There’s much to love about this trendy Japanese eatery. Best dish: Chef’s Sushi plate
