One of the better presented restaurants in this part of Melbourne. This restaurant has table cloths and that puts it a class above the others without even considering the food which is good. Service is friendly and efficient.

Great food, friendly service. It was a quiet weeknight that I visited on. Staff were happy to let my friend and I sit and chat after dinner without rushing us out the door.

This is a regular dining night out with our friends. The food is always good. However last night I had to wait for some time for my meal to be served. Everyone else had their meal and was finished whilst I was still eating. This is a 1st that happening and certainly won't stop me from booking again!

About Leelavadee

n Bloom From its unassuming exterior, we´d never have guessed the treasures that Leelavadee has inside. The sweet little restaurant is more than just a house of Thai food – it´s a living cultural experience of Thailand. Forget doing things the Western way – the staff here encourage you to eat Thai-style, with an abundance of dishes to share with friends. Order as many dishes as there are heads at your table and be sure to taste everything. Now isn´t that more fun than having just one boring old meal all to yourself? We think so. That´s why we went all out and tried a variety of dishes covering everything from soup to stir fry, satay to curry. Owner and head chef Vatinee Schumann is a Thai expat who really knows her stuff, displaying her expertise in traditional dishes such as pad thai and pad bai graprow. Be sure to get a doggy bag before you leave because leftovers annoy the rice god! Once you´ve tried their food, Leelavadee will look as pretty to you as the flower it was named after. Best dish: Pad Gratium Prig Thai
