One of the best modern Chinese cuisine in Melbourne. Traditional dishes with a modern twist.

Fusion food, balanced and a good range of flavours and textures, several interesting vegetable combinations (not always available in some restaurants). Well informed, helpful wine waiter.

About Lee Ho Fook

City slicker Lee Ho Fook is one of Melbourne's true Asian delights. Having relocated from Smith Street to the CBD the new warehouse space on Duckboard Place is more 'design' centric than the industrial Collingwood location. Despite the move to the big smoke, the food remains the same. Here it’s Chinese food that doesn’t taste like vegetables stewing in coagulated MSG. The best Chinese flavours are brought to dishes made with fresh and wholesome ingredients. Head chef and owner Victor Liong works wonders with his wok, giving old dishes a new spin. We recommend coming in with mates and sharing so you can taste as many of his delicious inventions as possible. Start with something small like the savoury tea-smoked egg and work up to the likes of big Sung Choi Bao. Wines, spirits and liqueurs are aplenty, making the perfect accompaniment to an exquisite meal. You're all class Lee Ho Fook. Best dish: Tea-smoked egg Please use promo code 'FOOK' for parking discount at Le Garage - http://greencoparking.com/carpark-single-hours.asp?ID=36
