Service was fantastic and fast. One of the dishes (eggplant dish) was too oily but the tofu and pork dishes were good. Children friendly place.

We went on NYE 17 early in the evening. Service was a little slow to begin with but was overall very good. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Food was very good overall but the dumplings were a bit average. Mains were excellent though. I would recommend a visit.

This is a small and more family type restaurant. We went for dinner and found the way they cook meat and vegetables taste quite nice but they put too much oil to cook so ended up extremely oily! Plus not much choice from menu, unlike other proper restaurants have more common and popular dishes available. Hope this restaurant can improve have much more choices in the future! Also, this restaurant located not in a golden location but the price they put too high, actually much higher than the price set in city bigger and proper restaurants.

About Lan Yuan Top Ryde

Yum cha close to home Luan Yuan, means bamboo garden, and this glorious sturdy shrub features prominently throughout the modern interior of this restaurant. The menu is served yum-cha style and you can expect top notch Cantonese fare...hopefully the dumplings, peking duck, mud crab or maybe the rock lobster will be on offer when you visit. We can promise however, a contemporary take on classic Cantonese dishes which will leave you wanting more. Best dish: char siu pork.
