First visit here. Really enjoyed the pappadelle ragi and Butchers Cut steak. Recommend the grilled asparagus too

Four ladies out for lunch at a beautiful setting. We all had pasta and were absolutely delighted with our selection. The Beef Ragu had such depth of multiple flavours. A rich tomato sauce with a hint of chilli and maybe capsicum. The gnocchi , like soft pillows , soaked up the sauce. It was Yum at the first bite. My bread and butter pudding came with plenty of custard with a caramel swirl for added flavour. Service excellent. A must visit restaurant.

About La Luna Bistro

A Meat Master At this rustic-chic corner shop front restaurant, it’s all about meat. Chef and hands-on meat man Adrian Richardson's easygoing ways and nose-to-tail food philosophy are always on show at this much loved, long standing restaurant in Rathdown Village. Highly regarded for the quality of the house-aged beef, Richardson also offers a number of other tasty meats, many of which are hand made. From crackling wrapped pork, to generous lamb shoulders and house-made cotechino sausage, it’s clear Richardson has a real meaty skill. This lofty-ceilinged space with bentwood chairs and fence-wire chandeliers is a charming neighbourhood gem that’s perfect for a meat feast. Just don’t bring your vegetarian friends along. We’re not so sure they’ll approve. Best dish: dry-aged, on-the-bone rib-eye
