Great little local. Authentic, delicious Italian. Try the garlic pizza with chili oil - it's awesome!

Very friendly and cheerful welcome and service. Kitchen had a few glitches on the night eg ran out of prawns but we were adequately compensated.

This is our second visit to this excellent family Italian restaurant in Leichhardt. The atmosphere is local and there are many obviously regular clients known to the staff. The food is excellent and very authentic served with a professional touch. We will certainly make this a regular.

Absolutely amazing, tasty food, generous portions, relaxed and cosy atmosphere and the service was 11/10. Very friendly staff - gave me free side of vegetables for my main too!

We had mussels and the spaghetti marinara and both dishes were very good! I would've liked a bit more mussels and some toasted bread with it but overall quite tasty. The service was excellent!

The food and service were great and the fact that it is BYO is very appealing. Suitable for couples and families.

About La Botte D'Oro

La Botte D'oro has been serving customers since 1977 and the one family name has been behind this all these years. The Petrini's has made this place an institution. Its relaxed, fun and best of all the food is like nonna's just thrown on her apron and dished you up a home cooked meal. Today Mr Petrini, the proudest Roman with the perfect hair, has slowed down a bit but still is always visible from time to time sitting with his mates talking about football and all sorts of crazy things in that italian hand gesturing way. Nowadays his son David has been given the top job to bring this old stalwart into the future and has really brought back the heartbeat to this prized possession. The feeling when you push through the Golden Barrel Door (that's been holding the window frames for over 38 years now) and are greeted by the friendly italian staff, that treat you like family, makes you fall in love with the place. Its Just EASY! Trust me when i say, there are not many around like La Botte D'oro. you won't regret it!! Best Dish: famous anti-pasti tasting plate for entree
