Great service and good food in a nice setting. Fusion food so flavours are a bit different to what you expect from indian food but in a good way.

The food was delicious, presented beautifully and generous portions. They were very helpful, and accurate with the wines. The service was fantastic. Every waitperson caught your every glance, and empty dishes were whisked away quickly, silently and great co-operation between them. Plates were passed silently behind backs, and a second passing waitperson would surreptitiously collect it. Quite fascinating to watch.

Must get the dosa and curry! Everything was delicious. Not too noisy so you could actually talk. They played great music (Beatles, Rolling Stones etc).

Great gin list - enjoyed the Archie rose. Highlight of the night was definitely the barramundi with coconut moolee. Service was attentive.

About INDU

Fresh and flavoursome Indian cuisine? Say what? For those of you who think that Indian food is greasy, heavy and unhealthy, Sam Prince and his team are about to squash that pretty darn quickly with Indian eatery Indu. Found in the basement of the heritage listed building at 350 George Street Indu will give those at the northern end of the city a great taste of Indian cuisine. Inspired by the villages and coastal regions of India’s south, the food here is fresh and won’t bog you down. Best dish: flame-seared tumeric cured salmon, cardamon aioli and pickled fennel
