Very underwhelming. Not like I remember it used to be at all.

Great place to catch up with friends. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Food was really good and coffee was consistently good.

The service was fun, friendly and really accomodating. Massive Bloody Mary's (made with either tequila or vodka) were a great surprise, as was the generosity of the servings.. we had a fabulous time!

Great happy hour $5 drinks. Had nice gluten free dishes which was great for our party. Liked that you could choose between tapas style or mains which suited everyone in our group. The burger special was delicious. Though my friend was a little disappointed in the Mexican dish she had. Coffee was great! Staff where absolutely amazing and did a fabulous job.

Many thanks for the sandwich and the chips. At least I'm glad that they cater for vegetarians

Interesting menu - tequila lime cured salmon was a fun breakfast addition. Very filling meal and service was friendly. Love the decor of the place, great vibe and lots of nooks to create a cosy feel for catch ups.

As always, a quality lunch at Hairy Little Sista. Highly recommend the sandwich and beer special.

About Hairy Little Sista

Not Your Average Little Sista! What appeals to us about Hairy Little Sista (aside from the oh-so-intriguing name)? It’s the modern food, hip Little Collins Street location and, as Dennis Denuto in The Castle would say, “It’s just the vibe of the thing.” This friendly little joint, the sister restaurant of Hairy Canary and features comfy couches, high-bar tables and a glorious outdoor seating area - making it ideal for just about any outing, any time of day. Grab a takeaway coffee in the morning or stop in for brekkie (go for the cheesy toast on a whole grain loaf), lunch or dinner. We love that there are tapas options, making for great after work nibbles or dinner out with a group of mates. There are cocktails a plenty to pair with those Spanish-style snacks, and ingredients are sourced from local Victorian producers. We say don’t shrug off that little sista - give it ago! Best dish: spicy sausage.
